Scorpion Heels and Wheels Course

This course is for the ladies. It aims to cover all basic aspects of vehicle components, and looks into things like changing a tyre and the correct way of jumpstarting a vehicle, should the need arise.
The following aspects will be covered:

• Different components and their functions:
• Tyres
• Battery
• Fluids/lubrication in the engine bay
• Fuse box

• Warning lights:
• Warning lights and their meanings explained

• Daily checks and inspections:
• Lubrication and cooling system
• Tyre pressures
• Electrical components, i.e. lights and indicators
• Battery
• Under car inspections
• Inside inspections

How to:
• Ensure correct tyre pressure
• Change a flat tyre
• Jumpstart a vehicle
• Replace wiper blades
• Replace a lightbulb
• Check for and replace blown fuses
• Check the different fluid levels

• Service components

Vehicle breakdown:
• Mechanical breakdown procedures
• At the mechanic
